Swell Packers

Swell packers are equipment made of a special elastomer that swells when interacting with well fluids and, as a result, closes the annular space of the well.

 

Key features:

  • One-piece construction for high quality sealing
  • A new generation elastomers that swell because of the interaction with water, oil or hybrid action and comply with the latest standards
  • Locking rings prevent ejection and protect the elastomer while tripping
  • Temperature range for using packers from 0ºC to + 200ºC
  • Operating pressure range up to 68.95 MPa (depending on packer length)
  • Casing packers of any diameter and length
